A short fix list, with the full diagnostic behind it
Every rewrite ready to paste
We never ask for your password
A real one. This is Deepak's own profile as it stood on 24 Aug 2026. The audit found 11 things, 4 of them critical. Five weeks after the fixes went in, weekly search appearances had gone from 9 to 52. He had also started posting again in that time.
Two audits. Pick the one that fits.
The profile audit and the rewrites are the same in both. Essentials stops at what a visitor can see. Professional also reads your own LinkedIn data, which is the only place your post reach, your audience and your network are recorded.
The lighter one
Essentials Audit
For when the profile itself is the problem, you post rarely, and you would rather not export anything.

Professional Audit
For when you post, or are about to, and want to know what is working and who is reading.
Answers
Everything Essentials answers, and four more:
Which of my posts reached people, and which did not?
Who is actually reading me, and are they the people I want?
What is my network made of, and who in it should I be talking to?
Where do my numbers stand today, so I can measure again later?

Everything in Essentials, plus 12 months of your post performance, your audience breakdown and your connections
You get
Everything in Essentials, plus four data sections: baseline, post performance, audience and network
You send
Your profile link and four files from LinkedIn. The questionnaire and CV are optional.
Your time
About 10 minutes for the files, plus up to a day while LinkedIn prepares one of them. The optional questionnaire adds 15 to 20.

Required
Open your profile and copy the address from the browser bar. It looks like linkedin.com/in/your-name.
We read your profile and recent activity the way any logged-in visitor would. You will see one profile view from Deepak Ravtani. Nothing on your account is changed.
Optional
Optional
A Word file you can download from this page. It asks what you want LinkedIn to do for you, who you want to reach and how you sound.
It is optional, and it changes the audit more than anything else you send. Without it, we audit your profile against what it appears to be aiming for. With it, we audit against what you actually want, and the rewrites are written for your goal and in your voice.

Any format. We use it to spot roles, dates and results that are on your CV but missing from your profile.

LinkedIn lets you download a copy of your own data. It is the only complete record of your posts, comments, skills and connections.
On a computer, click Me (your photo, top right), then Settings & Privacy.
Open Data privacy, then Get a copy of your data.
Choose the first option, the larger data archive, and click Request archive. LinkedIn may ask for your password.
LinkedIn emails you twice. The first email arrives in about 10 minutes with a partial file. Wait for the second email, usually within 24 hours. Its file name starts with Complete.
Download it within 72 hours, before the link expires, and unzip it.
Make a new folder. Copy in only the files listed below. Zip that folder and upload it.
Some file names end in a number, for example Shares_123456.csv. That is normal. If a file is not in your export, LinkedIn left it out because that part of your profile is empty. Send what is there.

Please do not send the whole zip. It contains your private messages, your phone number and identity details. We do not need them and do not want to hold them. The upload form checks for these files and stops if it finds one.

The data export shows what you posted. This file shows how it performed: impressions, engagement, follower growth and who your audience is.
On a computer, open your profile and scroll to the Analytics box. Click Show all.
Click Post impressions.
Change the date range to Past 365 days.
Click Export, top right. An Excel file downloads. Its name starts with AggregateAnalytics.
Send the file as it is. Please do not open and re-save it.

Two numbers are not in any export: how many people viewed your profile and how often you appeared in search.
Open your profile, find the Analytics box and click Show all.
You will see four tiles: post impressions, total followers, profile viewers and search appearances.
Take one screenshot showing all four tiles, including the small grey text under each number. That text states the period, and we need it.

A dated copy of your profile exactly as it stood when the audit began.
On a computer, open your profile.
Under your headline, click Resources. On some accounts the button is labelled More.
Click Save to PDF. The file downloads straight away.
